A pedestrian was struck on Highway 403 in Mississauga Wednesday morning, prompting a full closure of the westbound lanes at Mavis Road around 7:30 a.m., according to Ontario Provincial Police. Both OPP and Peel Regional Police responded to the scene. One person was taken to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. All lanes were reopened by 10:30 a.m.
