Police in Sault Ste. Marie are investigating a hit-and-run after a pedestrian was struck earlier this month near a fast-food restaurant on Great Northern Road.
The incident occurred around 10:15 a.m. on May 14 when a pedestrian walking northbound along the sidewalk was hit by a dark-coloured Jeep exiting a restaurant parking lot, according to police.
Investigators say the driver did not stop after the collision. The pedestrian suffered minor injuries.
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is asking for witnesses to come forward as they work to identify the vehicle and driver involved.
