A male cyclist sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle. The incident occurred Saturday night near the intersection of Matheson Boulevard and Shuttle Drive.
Emergency responders arrived shortly after 9:40 p.m. to find the injured cyclist, who was then transported to a trauma center. The driver involved fled the scene.
Peel Regional Police are continuing their investigation and are urging anyone with relevant information to contact their 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau or provide tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
