A fire that broke out early Thursday morning at a property in Gravenhurst is under investigation, with damage estimated at over $100,000. Fire crews responded to multiple 911 calls around 6 a.m. reporting flames and heavy smoke at a property on Winhara Road near Langford Drive. Upon arrival, they found a mobile home and a garden shed engulfed in fire, both unoccupied at the time.
The fire is being treated as suspicious, prompting an investigation with the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office and the OPP forensics team. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
