An Ottawa driver is facing several charges after a vehicle crashed into The Beer Store on Baseline Road Thursday afternoon.

Police said the collision happened around 3 p.m. near Woodroffe Avenue. The driver fled the scene but was located by officers a short time later.

The driver was taken into custody and faces multiple charges, including impaired operation, driving with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, dangerous operation, failing to remain at the scene of a collision and failing to comply with a release order.
