A driver from Paris, Ont is facing impaired driving charges following a single-vehicle crash in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
Wellington County OPP responded Saturday morning after a vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Police said the driver suffered minor injuries but did not require treatment at the scene.
Investigators allege the driver was operating the vehicle while impaired by both alcohol and drugs.
Jackson Illerbrun, 19, has been charged and is scheduled to appear in Guelph court in September. Police imposed a 90-day administrative driver’s licence suspension and impounded the vehicle for seven days, as required under provincial law.
