Police in Waterloo Region responded to a two-vehicle collision in Cambridge on Friday afternoon that resulted in impaired driving charges.
Officers were called to the intersection of Elgin Street North and Winter Avenue shortly before 4 p.m., where a Chevrolet Cruze and Honda Civic had collided.
The Honda driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The 42-year-old Cambridge woman behind the wheel of the Chevrolet was arrested and charged with impaired operation, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a weapon, and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
