A man was taken into custody on impaired driving charges after an early morning crash in Toronto’s York University Heights area.
Emergency crews were called to the scene near Keele Street and Toro Road shortly before 7 a.m., where a single vehicle had collided with a light pole, knocking it down. The driver suffered minor injuries in the incident.
Police say the man was arrested for impaired driving and transported to hospital for treatment. The investigation remains ongoing.
