A 34-year-old woman from Sault Ste. Marie is facing six charges following a single-vehicle crash last Saturday near Landslide Road and Fourth Line East. Emergency services responded to a 911 call around 4:40 p.m. and found the vehicle in a ditch with the driver nearby.

Police determined the woman was under the influence of alcohol, and subsequent breath tests confirmed her blood alcohol concentration was above the legal limit. She has been charged with impaired driving, operating a vehicle with a BAC over 80, dangerous driving, driving without a license, and failing to produce both a vehicle permit and insurance card.

She was released with a court date set for September 8.
