A cyclist was seriously injured in an incident in Whitby on Thursday afternoon.
Durham Regional Police said the incident occurred on Hopkins Street just before 4 p.m., though it remains unclear whether a vehicle was involved.
The cyclist sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Hopkins Street was temporarily closed between Nichol Avenue and Dundas Street during the response, but has since reopened.
