Emergency crews responded Monday morning to a collision involving a transport truck and a sedan in Ayr.
Waterloo Regional Police say the crash happened shortly after 10 a.m. at the intersection of Trussler Road and Welsh Drive. Officials reported that injuries were sustained, but the severity has not been disclosed.
Northbound lanes on Trussler Road were closed for several hours while crews worked to clear a trailer from the roadway and investigate the scene.
Drivers were advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes as the investigation continues.
