Traffic is backed up in Newmarket following a two-vehicle collision on eastbound Davis Drive, just east of Yonge Street, around 1:30 p.m. York Regional Police are urging drivers to avoid the area if possible, warning of significant delays as traffic is being diverted through the transit lane.
Police say the injuries sustained by those involved are not life-threatening. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact York Regional Police.
