A 41-year-old Kenora man is facing several charges after a collision involving two commercial vehicles in northwestern Ontario early Friday. Ontario Provincial Police say the crash occurred on Highway 17 near Hawk Lake shortly after 1 a.m. and did not result in any serious injuries.

Investigators allege one of the drivers left the scene, travelling east toward Dryden. Officers later located a commercial vehicle matching the description, and determined the driver had failed to remain at the scene and was operating without a valid licence.

The man has been charged with careless driving, driving while suspended, and failing to remain after a collision. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
