A 35-year-old Kitchener man was seriously injured after losing control of his motorcycle in a crash Sunday night.
Police said the motorcycle left the roadway around 9:15 p.m. near Homer Watson Boulevard and Old Carriage Road, close to the Pioneer Park and Doon South neighbourhoods. The rider was thrown from the motorcycle and taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The intersection was closed for several hours while emergency crews investigated and reopened to traffic Monday morning.
Police are asking anyone with information about the collision to come forward.
