A 22-year-old man from Kitchener was hospitalized with serious injuries following a two-vehicle crash in North Dumfries Township Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews responded around 6:30 a.m. to a collision involving a Volkswagen and a Chevrolet at the intersection of Trussler Road and Gladstone Road, west of Ayr. The Volkswagen’s driver was taken to hospital, while the Chevrolet’s driver, a 49-year-old North Dumfries resident, was not injured.
The intersection remained closed for several hours as police conducted their investigation. Waterloo Regional Police are asking anyone with information or dash camera footage to come forward.
