A heavy truck hauling logs caused a crash on Highway 63 northeast of North Bay on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in minor injuries. Ontario Provincial Police reported that the logging truck crossed the centerline, colliding with a commercial vehicle before hitting a passenger car. The impact scattered logs across the road, blocking the highway.
One person suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. The driver, a 60-year-old man from Frankford, was charged with careless driving.
The highway was cleared and reopened by 9:15 p.m.
