A 34-year-old London resident has died following a two-vehicle crash in Thames Centre on Thursday afternoon. Middlesex County OPP say the collision occurred around 1:20 p.m. on Dundas Street, between Shaw Road and Fairview Road.
Police report that an SUV travelling westbound collided with a dump truck. The SUV driver was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries and later succumbed to those injuries. The dump truck driver was not hurt.
OPP’s Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team is assisting with the investigation. Dundas Street is expected to remain closed for several hours as police continue their work.
