Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal collision on Highway 11 in northern Ontario, which occurred on Friday evening.
The crash involved a tractor-trailer and an SUV, resulting in the death of a 28-year-old woman from Longlac, the sole occupant of the SUV. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway was closed between Longlac and Beardmore for several hours, reopening just after 11 a.m. on Saturday. While the investigation continues, police have not found evidence to support any charges. They are urging anyone with surveillance footage of the incident to come forward.
