A male cyclist was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Brampton on Thursday morning.
Peel Regional Police said the collision occurred shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Dixie Road near North Park Drive. The cyclist was transported to hospital following the crash. Police said the driver involved remained at the scene.
Dixie Road was closed in both directions while emergency crews responded. Northbound traffic was stopped at Northampton Street, while southbound lanes were blocked at Northcliffe Street.
