A male pedestrian has died after being struck by a truck in a Milton parking lot near Scott Boulevard and Derry Road, according to Halton police. The incident occurred around 12:50 p.m. in the lot next to a Scotiabank.
The driver involved stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No charges have been laid at this time. Halton’s collision reconstruction unit is currently handling the case, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
Scott Boulevard was temporarily closed between Derry Road and Wise Crescent but has since reopened.
