Police in Peel Region are investigating a late-night collision in Brampton that left a pedestrian critically injured.
The incident occurred shortly before 11:20 p.m. along Queen Street East, just east of Bramalea Road. A man in his 40s was struck by a black sedan and taken to hospital with severe injuries.
Authorities confirmed the driver stayed at the scene. Eastbound lanes on Queen Street East remain closed as the investigation continues, and motorists are being urged to find alternate routes.
