A 26-year-old man has died following an ATV crash in Severn Township on Sunday evening, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.
Emergency crews were called to Laughlin Falls Road between Lovering Line and Taylor Line at approximately 8:30 p.m. after reports of a single-vehicle collision involving an ATV.
Police said the rider was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts by first responders to save his life.
The roadway remained closed for several hours while the OPP’s Technical Collision Investigators examined the area. The scene reopened shortly after midnight.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or may have video footage related to the incident to contact police as the investigation continues.
