A 36-year-old Essex man is facing multiple charges following a two-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon.
Essex County OPP responded to a crash on South Malden Road near Gesto Side Road at approximately 12:27 p.m. The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was arrested following the investigation.
He faces charges including impaired operation by alcohol and drugs, failure or refusal to comply with a demand, dangerous operation, driving while suspended, driving with an open container of liquor and driving without a licence.
Police also initiated a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and impounded the vehicle for seven days, as required by law.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on November 3, 2026.
