A 77-year-old Cornwall man has died following a collision involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle in North Glengarry Township.
The crash occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, on County Road 43 near County Road 30. According to the Ontario Provincial Police, a passenger vehicle was turning left when it crossed into the path of an approaching motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries. The driver of the passenger vehicle suffered minor injuries.
County Road 43 was closed in both directions between County Road 30 and Dornie Road for several hours while emergency crews responded and investigators examined the scene. The roadway has since reopened.
The investigation remains ongoing.
