Durham police are investigating a hit-and-run in north Oshawa that left a man with life-threatening injuries on Thursday morning.
Officers were called to the area of Nonquon Road and Mary Street North at about 10:30 a.m. after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene. The victim was initially taken to a local hospital before being airlifted by Ornge to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre for critical care.
Police have located the vehicle believed to be involved, but no arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
