A man has been arrested after a vehicle left the roadway, broke through a fence and crashed into a home in Etobicoke late Saturday.
Toronto police were called to the area of Kipling Avenue and Kidron Valley Drive shortly before 11:30 p.m. following reports of the crash.
Investigators say the driver left the scene on foot but returned a short time later. He was arrested and is now facing an alcohol-related driving offence under the Criminal Code.
Police have not provided details about any injuries.
The crash prompted a temporary closure of Kidron Valley Drive between Kipling Avenue and Hamer Avenue as officers investigated.
