A man in his 20s has been charged following a late-night crash in Ottawa.
According to the Ottawa Police Service, officers were called to a two-vehicle collision on Colonel By Drive near Rideau Street shortly before midnight on Saturday.
Investigators allege that one of the drivers became confrontational when asked to provide a breath sample and subsequently assaulted officers at the scene.
The accused now faces charges of refusing to provide a breath sample, obstructing police, and two counts of assaulting a police officer. No injuries were reported among the drivers or passengers involved, and officers did not require medical treatment.
