A 25-year-old man has been charged following a three-vehicle crash in Halton Hills on Friday night that left one driver seriously injured.

Halton police said the collision occurred at 6:20 p.m. on Highway 25 near 22 Side Road. The man, driving a Tesla Model 3, collided with a Volkswagen Jetta and a Toyota Corolla traveling in the opposite direction. The impact caused all three drivers to lose control, with the Toyota driver being taken to a trauma center with serious injuries.

After the crash, the Tesla driver fled the scene but was soon found and arrested nearby. He faces charges of dangerous driving causing bodily harm, failure to stop at the scene of an accident, and failure to comply with a release order.
