A 41-year-old man was taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Toronto’s Parkdale neighbourhood early Monday morning.
Toronto police said the collision happened near Queen Street West and Jameson Avenue shortly before 3 a.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene and the pedestrian was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Investigators say the driver involved did not remain at the scene and fled before police arrived.
No description of the vehicle has been released, and no arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
