A man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries after a vehicle collision in Ottawa’s west end Wednesday evening.
The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. near Panmure Road, involving a vehicle and a rock cut beside Highway 417. The occupant became trapped inside the vehicle following the collision. Ottawa firefighters responded and safely freed the man from the wreckage.
Paramedics from Ottawa and Renfrew treated the man before transporting him to Renfrew Victoria Hospital for further care.
