A man is in life-threatening condition after a car crashed into a light post and caught fire in Toronto on Wednesday night. Police were called to the scene near Lake Shore Boulevard West and Colborne Lodge Drive just before 8:50 p.m. Toronto Fire rescued the driver from the burning vehicle, and he was taken to hospital. Toronto Hydro was notified due to the damaged light post.
Update: Toronto Police confirmed that the man, aged 24, has died on Thursday.
