A 27-year-old Petawawa man has died after a dirt bike crash on a snowmobile trail, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
The collision happened Saturday around 4:45 p.m. on Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs Trail 128. Investigators say the rider hit a tree and was ejected from the bike.
People nearby tried to provide emergency aid, but he was declared dead at the scene. Police continue to look into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
