A house fire in the Sherbourne Street and Dundas Street East area sent a man to hospital Sunday night.
The blaze erupted just before 11:00 p.m., prompting police to close Sherbourne Street in both directions between Dundas Street East and Gerrard Street East. A man in his 60s was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the fire.
