A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle in North York on Saturday afternoon. The collision happened around 3:46 p.m. near Jane Street and Shoreham Drive, just south of Steeles Avenue West.

The victim, a man in his 70s, was initially reported to have serious injuries, though police later confirmed they were not life-threatening. The driver, a man in his 30s, stayed at the scene and was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.
