A man in his 50s was taken to a trauma centre with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Rexdale Wednesday evening.
Toronto police responded to the area near Martin Grove Road and John Garland Boulevard shortly after 7:30 p.m. following reports of a pedestrian being hit.
Paramedics said the man’s injuries are serious but not considered life-threatening.
Southbound Martin Grove Road is currently closed at John Garland Boulevard as police investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
