A man was seriously injured after a dirt bike crash in Pickering on Monday afternoon.
Durham Regional Police say officers were called to the area of Woodview Avenue and Bralorne Trail around 3:15 p.m. following reports of a single-vehicle collision.
When police arrived, they found the rider unresponsive and began life-saving efforts at the scene. He was then transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre for further treatment.
The circumstances that led to the crash have not yet been determined, and investigators are still working to understand what happened.
