Police in Penetanguishene are appealing for information following a hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian. The collision occurred just after 4 p.m. on Wednesday near a convenience store at the intersection of Main and Brock streets.

According to the investigation, a 30-year-old man was struck by the driver’s side mirror of a white vehicle, which then left the scene without stopping. The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated and released from a local hospital.

Authorities are urging anyone with dashcam footage or who may have witnessed the event to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
