A driver was seriously injured in a collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle in Scarborough on Monday afternoon.
Toronto police say the crash occurred just after 3:10 p.m. near Ellesmere Road and Dolly Varden Boulevard, west of Markham Road. Paramedics transported a man in his late 30s to a trauma centre with serious but stable injuries.
Police have not confirmed which of the drivers was hospitalized and have released few details about how the collision happened. They later indicated that one person sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Ellesmere Road was temporarily closed between Markham Road and Dolly Varden Boulevard but has since reopened.
