Two pedestrians were seriously injured in a vehicle collision in Markham on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred near Birchmount Road and Denison Street just before 8:30 p.m.
According to York Regional Police, the pedestrians sustained severe injuries, some of which are considered life-threatening, and were transported to a trauma center. The driver stayed at the scene and is fully cooperating with the investigation.
