Two people were seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in Vaughan on Thursday evening. The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. on Dufferin Street, between Teston Road and Sir Benson Drive, when the motorcycle hit a guardrail.
York Regional Police confirmed that the two riders, a man and a woman, sustained serious injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Authorities have closed the area for the investigation and are advising motorists to avoid the route.
