Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a collision involving a motorcycle and a Kia SUV that occurred around 12:30 p.m. Friday in a parking lot on Fairway Road South in Kitchener.
The motorcyclist, a 62-year-old Kitchener resident, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital. The 86-year-old driver of the Kia SUV was unharmed.
Police temporarily closed part of the parking lot while investigating the crash, but the area has since reopened.
