A 73-year-old motorcyclist is in critical condition following a single-vehicle crash in Lanark Highlands Township on Wednesday afternoon.
Ontario Provincial Police said the rider lost control of the motorcycle on Wolf Grove Road between Gibson Road and 8th Concession at approximately 2 p.m. No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
The man was airlifted to hospital with critical injuries. Wolf Grove Road was temporarily closed as officers investigated the crash, with detours in place for motorists.
Update – The motorcyclist has died from his injuries at the hospital.
