A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a single-vehicle crash in Centre Wellington Township on Saturday morning. Emergency services responded to the scene on Wellington Road 22 near Jones Baseline shortly before 10:30 a.m.
According to Wellington County OPP, the rider was the only person involved and was transported by air ambulance to a hospital in Hamilton.
The OPP’s West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team is assisting with the investigation. As a result, Wellington Road 22 remains closed between Jones Baseline and Wellington Road 29.
