Two separate crashes in Guelph sent a motorcyclist and an e-bike rider to a trauma centre in Hamilton on Tuesday evening.

The first incident occurred around 6:35 p.m. near Fleming Road and Creekside Drive, where a 60-year-old man lost control of his motorcycle and struck a curb. He suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

About two hours later, a second crash took place on Elizabeth Street near Duke Street. A 57-year-old man riding an e-bike lost control after hitting gravel and was thrown over the handlebars. He also sustained serious injuries.
