A motorcyclist has been charged following a crash that left him injured in Laurentian Valley Township last month, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported.

Police responded to the collision on Barron Canyon Road at around 2 a.m. on April 19, where they found the 29-year-old motorcyclist, the sole occupant, injured. He was taken to the hospital, though authorities did not disclose his condition.

The Petawawa man has been charged with impaired operation of a vehicle. Additionally, he faces a 90-day driver’s license suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 20.
