A 37-year-old Winchester man has died following a motorcycle crash near Chesterville on Friday afternoon.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to the collision on County Road 7 near Crump Road at about 3:50 p.m. The preliminary investigation found that the motorcycle struck the back of a trailer being towed by a pickup truck.
The motorcyclist was airlifted by Air Ornge to the Ottawa Hospital trauma centre, where he later died. There were no other injuries reported.
County Road 7 was temporarily closed between County Road 3 and Boyne Road as officers investigated the scene. The roadway has since reopened.
The investigation is continuing.
