A motorcyclist died in a two-vehicle collision near Cardinal, Ont., on Sunday afternoon, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported. The collision occurred around 1 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 22 and Brouseville Road, about 85 km south of Ottawa, involving a motorcycle and a passenger car.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while the car’s driver and a passenger were treated for minor injuries at the hospital. OPP stated that the area would remain closed into the evening as the investigation continues.
