A motorcyclist has died after a collision involving a car in Scarborough on Sunday evening.
Toronto police say the crash happened around 5:50 p.m. at Eglinton Avenue and McCowan Road. Investigators believe the motorcycle was travelling east on Eglinton when it collided with a westbound car that was turning left onto McCowan Road.
The rider was taken to a nearby trauma centre with critical injuries and was later pronounced dead in hospital.
Police say everyone involved remained at the scene following the collision.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
