A section of Highbury Avenue South in London has reopened after a motorcycle crash overnight left one person with serious injuries.
London police shut down Highbury Avenue in both directions between Hamilton Road and Commissioners Road East shortly before 2 a.m. to allow investigators to examine the scene.
Police said the collision involved a motorcycle, and the rider was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
The road reopened to traffic shortly before 7:40 a.m. after the investigation was completed.
