A motorcyclist is recovering in hospital following a crash with a transport truck on Highway 400 near Aurora Road on Monday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the incident around 10 a.m. Sgt. Kerry Schmidt told 680 NewsRadio that the motorcycle rear-ended the transport truck, leaving the rider seriously injured but with non-life-threatening injuries. The motorcyclist was promptly taken to hospital.
The southbound lanes of Highway 400 were closed for a few hours, reopening around 1:30 p.m. as the investigation continued.
